| Sacred Dustbunnies
Piled high and deep beside my bed are
books and books and more books, ranging from old ones
I am re-reading, to new books I've either bought myself
or which were sent to me by writer friends, and a handful
of reference books and guides on non-work related topics
(like travel or movies).
Since I have little time to read purely
for pleasure, some have gathered dust as they languish,
patiently waiting for me finally to finish with them.
Others just live by my bed, so I can turn to them again
and again.
Herewith some current residents of
the pile:
